Pink Tie
EVENT IDENTITY
The Pink Tie Party, the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s largest fundraising event, is an evening filled with delicious bites from local restaurants, creative cocktails, an open bar and unique entertainment. The evening features music, dancing, over-the-top decor, and the friendly competition of a large silent auction.
In an effort to marry the Pink Tie Party with the overarching “Spring Blossoms Here” Festival campaign, we developed a tandem identity that complemented the campaign identity. However, this night-time spectacular is a far different experience than the other festival events, so we ensured the Pink Tie Party Identity had its own flare.
We used navy to communicate elegance and mimic the feel of the nighttime event. Along the hand drawn elements from the “Spring Blossoms Here” campaign, we added touches of glitter and foil to give the materials an elevated identity. Our talented friends at Design Foundry and Linder Global developed large scale installation based on the identity we developed for the event.
